Author: Charles Dickens
Title: Great Expectations
Chapters: 59
Great Expectations follows the main character Pip through his life. It follows him from a small boy through to adulthood. Along the way we join him in his times of sorrow and joy. At the end of the book I felt I was parting with an old friend.
This was the first Charles Dickens book that I've read. I really enjoyed it :) It was a real page turner and I started to get impatient at the end of Chapter 39. Which meant that I started to read faster and read more often. Which isn't a bad way to be.

welcome
Welcome to my new blog :) This blog will be my reading log. Do you remember the reading log you kept as a child? Like that, only on a blog. A reading log on a blog ;)
Myself and a friend on twitter @katiejay6 are reading the same book at the same time. We decided to start this on Charles Dickens birthday and to start reading his books. After we've finished this epic task we'll start on another author.
This blog will have moderated comments. This is because I don't want any eejits out there commenting and leaving spoilers.
